John Henry Schulz
johnschulz@queluzusa.com John founded Queluz in 1989 after serving as Representative in Brazil for National Westminster Bank and for Chemical Bank. He holds a bachelors from Yale and a masters and a doctorate from Princeton and has published several books and articles on Brazilian history. Queluz had a strategic partnership with Coutts, today part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, from 1990 to 2000. John served as Coutts´ legal representative in Brazil during this period. Currently he resides in Rio de Janeiro, where he also presides over the NGO Instituto Lima Barreto. Sergio Vieira Proença sergioproenca@queluzusa.com Sergio joined Queluz in 1997 after 24 years at Banco Bamerindus, then the third largest commercial bank in Brazil. Sergio´s final three positions at Bamerindus were Deputy General Manager of the New York branch, International Director, and Chief Operating Officer of the bank. Sergio did his bachelors at the Federal University of Parana, in Curitiba-PR, and MBA at EAESP-FGV, in Sao Paulo-SP, and currently resides in southern Florida. |
