Queluz Asset Management LP

Queluz Asset Management LP (QAM) is the American offshoot of the Brazilian Queluz Gestão de Ativos Ltda, founded in 1989.

QAM manages bond funds domiciled in the United States and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

Its sister company, Queluz Asset Management Ltd, in the Bahamas, advises Latin American firms seeking funding on the international as well as on the Brazilian capital market and provides wealth management services.

Among our larger international placements over the years have been a $100,000,000 Eurobond issue for Paranábanco and a similar-sized loan for Tangará, a food company based in Minas Gerais.

Today, on the credit side, QAM is active in forfaiting and other short-term financing for agribusiness while preparing to re-enter the international bond market when conditions permit.

On the wealth management side, we acted as agents in Brazil for Coutts in Miami from 1990 to 2000 and currently work with several first class financial institutions, principally UBS in New York and Morgan Stanley in Miami. 

Since inception, our client base has been concentrated in the States of Paraná and São Paulo. Today we have agents in these two states, and we plan to extend coverage to other regions active in agribusiness.
